Summer 2026 Create Workshops – Outdoor Mosaics

Mosaic Garden Workshops- Grow more in your garden than plants in 2026!

Let’s create plates and pots, stones and candles, and even a mosaic garden address sign for your outdoor pleasure.

There’s a particular kind of satisfaction that comes from making something with your hands — something real, something finished, something that sits in your garden or lights up your patio and reminds you that you made that.

Starting in May 2026, I’m offering a season of mosaic workshops here in Bellingham, Washington — each one designed to create a beautiful, lasting piece for your outdoor space. Whether you’ve never touched a piece of glass or tile in your life, or you’ve been quietly curious about mosaic for years, there’s a place for you in this series.

Each class is hands-on, beginner-welcoming, and complete in itself. You can take one, or follow the whole season. Either way, you leave with something you’ll actually use and love.

Fall 2026  Workshops – We Don’t Say Goodbye to Outside

We bring it inside!

There’s a shift that happens every fall — the days get shorter, the air turns inward, and so do we. We trade porches for living rooms, long evenings outside for quiet nights by the fire.

This season, we’re breaking that tradition. We’re bringing the outside in — through foraging, natural materials, and the textures and colors that only show up this time of year. Our work stays rooted in what’s right outside the door.

Along the way, you’ll get hands-on with a real range of mediums — paint, glass, natural fiber, clay-adjacent textures, mosaic, paper — building a toolkit, not just a single skill. I’ll even show you how to make some of your own tools, so you’re not spending more than you have to just to keep creating.

We’ll make things for ourselves and for each other — including a Thanksgiving collage workshop centered on thanking the community members (chosen by the community itself) who show up for us all year. And we’ll close the season the way it deserves: with a mosaic-covered, velvet-lined Christmas gift box — the kind of thing that becomes a family heirloom, not a stocking stuffer.

A season of making with your hands, giving with intention, and noticing what fall is actually offering us — if we slow down long enough to see it.
