We carry bits of everything we’ve known in our hearts: a place we loved, a person we miss, a summer, a song, a favorite old shirt. Scraps of memory, tied and strung together, make up a life.

In this workshop, you’ll weave them into art.

Let’s Go Bohemian

During this cozy winter workshop in Bellingham, Washington, you’ll make your own simple loom, then weave on it with yarns, fabric strips, ribbons, wool, and other fibers. You’ll finish with your own 8 x 10-inch framed textile wall art, full of color, texture, and personality.

This is a beginner-friendly class. You’ll learn simple weaving techniques and discover how to combine materials of different weights, textures, and patterns. No complicated designs to follow and no weaving experience needed. The fun is in experimenting, making discoveries, and seeing how the pieces come together.

Bring a Little Piece of Your Story

You’re invited to bring fabric scraps, bits of ribbon, leftover yarn, or pieces of clothing that hold a special memory or appeal to you. Perhaps it’s fabric from a favorite shirt, a piece of lace, or something tucked away in a sewing basket. Maybe Grandma has a stash! 😉 We’ll explore ways to weave these treasures into your artwork.

And if you don’t have anything to bring, no worries! I will provide a colorful assortment of materials.

Come enjoy three creative hours exploring the possibilities of fiber, texture, and connection. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind framed Boho weaving, ready to display.

If you need to cancel 7 or more full days before class, you’ll receive a full refund within 3 business days.

Canceling 3-6 full days before class earns you 100% store credit toward a future workshop.

Canceling 1-2 days before class earns you 50% store credit.

Unfortunately, day-of cancellations and no-shows aren’t eligible for a refund or credit, since we prepare materials for each person in advance.
