Seems to me we are always looking for something to move us, change us, inspire us – outside of us.
Maybe a sunset, a flower, a baby’s smile, a puppy’s dance – or the beauty of a body or a face.
Funny though, we can always find a flaw with the sunset – if the wind is too cold. The body may be beautiful but her teeth – a mess! Even the baby’s smile can be overshadowed by a dirty diaper.
I am convinced that the beauty in the world is found through the beauty in our hearts.
People who seem to have a full heart, who are comfortable in their skin – find beauty in the smallest or most insignificant things.
Like a caterpillar on a leaf in a dusty field or a stormy night with bolts of lightning – wild and uncontrolled; just being light.
Beauty is everywhere when beauty is inside you first.
It’s worth all the money you could ever spend. All the time you invest. Any inconvenience. My friends – find the treasure of beauty.
