Every story is unique.
I was born in Colorado but lived most of my life on the west coast. I really love the ocean. My art teachers in school told me to keep my day job – “You are a great speaker!”, they said when I tried to draw and paint.
I married a wonderful guy and two children while living in on the Canadian prairie. Life took me around the world in human relief and development for 20 years in 20+ countries. Although I went to “teach” the world – the world taught me to see differently.
I have addressed an audience 1000’s of times and taught on TV, radio and in many schools.
I was married for a couple decades and eventually moved to British Columbia Canada.
I had a few small businesses that were built around marketing and communications.
Four times I have been blessed with amazing grandkids – call me “grammy”!
But, I have never been good “alone.” I prefer to be a partner. No, I won’t grow out of it. (smile)
About ten years ago I started painting.
I have taken classes here and there but found that the best way to learn was miles and miles of
strokes, lots and lots of paint, and a tireless persistence towards creating visual stories.
I have painted hundreds of paintings and am so blessed to have MyStory artwork in homes all over North America.Recently I moved back to Colorado and am learning it’s just a great place to live.
Sorry, but I don’t really care about awards and competitions. I probably should. I want to serve my clients. I want them to be the star. I want to interpret your life in art.
Case studies of Art MyStory
It’s the clients and your stories that inspire me. You have overcome trouble, found resilience, tamed your demons, discovered love, lost treasures, discovered mysteries, shared moments that make history.
YourStory = MyStory Art.
“I loved the experience. Harmony’s questions surprised me, but the painting was so spot on “
– Leila Thomas, Ohio
“We bought an Art MyStory for our parents. They celebrated their 40th anniversary. Harmony made them feel like a royal couple. The painting is prominently placed in the family room where they see it every day!”
Chris, Marisa, Joanne and Robert Draken – Florida
“I commissioned an artwork by Harmony for my new home. My friends love it! I want to pass it on to my kids someday. It’s my very first piece of original art.”
-Nancy Poles – Vancouver BC
